Last Thursday, Mrs. Shannon Leebrick highlighted our Heartland Christian School students in their “Spring Music Program”. Thank you, students and Mrs. Leebrick, for sharing with all of us.

Our third and fourth grade students, along with the guidance of their teacher, Mrs. Elling, oversaw Chapel on Wednesday. Their major theme was how powerful the tongue can be either for positive or negative. She had conducted an experiment with plants to help prove her theory. Thank you, students and Mrs. Elling.

Also, at the end of Chapel, our student council presented Sonic Gift Cards to the winners of the “March Madness Cereal Contest”. Winners were as follows: Staff-Abi Fromholtz; Secondary students-Clover Frantz and Emrey Welsh; and Elementary students-Jena Villmer. Thank you, student council for organizing this fun event. Our student council donated 68 pounds of the leftover cereal to Genesis. Thank you for thinking of others!
