Solomon Valley 4-H Club June Minutes
June 15, 2026
By Tori Harter
The monthly meeting of the Solomon Valley 4-H Club was held on June 15 at 7:00 pm at Citizens Medical Hospital. Jennifer Haag and Rosie Ziegelmeier from our club gave us a tour of the new hospital before having our meeting.
The meeting was called to order by President, Nash Ziegelmeier. Flag salute and 4-H Pledge was led by everyone. Roll call was, “What is your favorite number?” It was answered by 17 members, 3 leaders and 1 guest; our new extension agent, Ashley Trout.
Next, Brylie Harter gave our club the review of the treasurers report. Pete Ziegelmeier and Sara Sloan reminded us that steer hoof trimming would be on Saturday June 20 and to make sure you have a reserved slot if you’re wanting to attend!
For committee reports, Milo Burvee shared our progress on working towards the purple seal for our club.
For new business, our club approved having a club tour of everyone’s projects at the fair. The meeting was adjourned. Next month’s meeting will be held on July 26 at the fairgrounds.
