July Minutes for the Abilene Hustlers 4-H Club

The monthly meeting of the Abilene Hustlers 4-H Club was held on July 6th, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Frantz Farm.

This meeting was held in conjunction with the club’s annual tour. Before the meeting, the members got to tour the farm, viewing chickens, geese, pigs, steers, goats, and much more.

Following the tour, President Reagan Frantz called the meeting to order. Members answered roll call with their favorite fair ride. The officer reports and council report was then presented.

During the council meeting, it was decided that parents who provided transportation to Camp Lakeside would be reimbursed. There will also be a meal after the fair set-up on July 23rd.

For the report of committee’s, both the fair float and fair booth were discussed. The September meeting date was discussed as well and it was decided that it will take place on September 14th.

For the program, all members were invited to bring a project and speak about it. Quaid Frantz and Korin Gabel then led the club in recreation which was playing blitzball after the meeting.

The meeting was then adjourned. There will be no August meeting due to the fair. The next meeting will be September 14th at 7:00 pm with the location to be determined.
