Three years ago, S&T supported WWS, Inc. in their pursuit of a USDA Rural Economic Development Loan & Grant (REDLG) during the construction phase of Colby’s new Comfort Inn & Suites hotel. S&T is proud to announce that the process is officially complete.
Because S&T has been rooted in rural western Kansas since 1952, the community-owned cooperative understands the importance of rural community development. They were proud to endorse the project and support the economic growth of the Colby community.
The hotel opened for business in Dec. 2025 and is owned by Michael & Jennifer Woofter, Jayson & Tara Woofter, and Terry & Teresa Stupka.
