Solomon Valley 4-H Club September Minutes

The monthly meeting of the Solomon Valley 4-H Club was held on September 14 at 7:00 pm at the 4-H building. The meeting was called to order by Nash Ziegelmeier, president. Flag salute and 4-H pledge was led by everyone. Roll call was, “What is your favorite flower?” It was answered by 18 members and 2 leaders present.

Next, Brylie Harter gave our club the review of the treasurers report. Pete Ziegelmeier gave the leaders report. He stated all members wanted to do 4-H next year need to re-enroll for next year by October 1st.

For committee reports, Teri and Milo Burvee informed our club about the progress of our club towards getting the purple seal. Our club also discussed getting me a 4-H week committee. For new business Pete told us that we are in charge of the meal for the achievement banquet coming up November 13. We also talked about 48 hours of 4-H and ways we can inform people about 4-H. Our club also had officer elections for our members. For recreation we played a fun game of Tag.

The meeting was adjourned.

The next meeting will be held on October 12.
