December 10, 2025
by Tori Harter, reporter

The monthly meeting of the Solomon Valley 4-H Club was held on December 6th at 6:15pm at the 4-H building. We had the meeting shortly after the Christmas parade. The meeting was called to order by Nash Ziegelmeier, president. Flag salute and 4-H pledge was by Bear Stramel. Roll call was, “What is your favorite Christmas song?” It was answered by 23 members and 3 leaders present.

Next on the agenda, Brylie Harter gave our club the review of the treasurer’s report. Pete Zeigelmeier gave us the leader’s report. He informed us of the K-State junior sheep days coming up as well as a leadership day, held January 10th at Cimarron. Pete also reminded us to make sure we RSVP for the New Years Dance Party coming up later this month!

For our committee reports, the groups for the Angel Tree, Christmas Party, and Christmas Parade discussed and told our club what they did and how they went about getting those things done. We also discussed our Club Seal and working on accomplishing things that lead up to it. For new business, Sara Sloan informed us about the pizza fundraiser. The meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be held January 12th.
